Bake Some Fun

I made banana bread with a little help from my mom. There were chocolate chips, bananas, eggs, flour, baking soda and sugar. Then we cooked it. It taste great. I cracked the eggs and read the recipe.

Sew Easy

I made this monster guy with a little help with my mom. First I drew what I wanted him to look like. Then I traced him on fabric. Then I added teeth, eyes a bow tie and two buttons. Then we sewed him on the sewing machine. Then we stuffed him. I love it!

Ice Volcanoes

We made a science project. It was an ice volcano. We mixed baking soda, water and food coloring then we froze it. Then we poured vinegar on the volcano. It bubbled a lot.

Be a Pen Pal

I wrote this letter to my cousin Sean. He is in the army in Afghanistan. We are sending him a big package.

Be a Builder

I build this with tape, paper and scissors. That is the three important things I need to make anything. I call it the "sniper tower." I got the idea to make it from a game called "Boom Beach."

Team Sports

I was playing a baseball game. It was a double header that day. My team was the Rockets. The weather was soooooooooo(!) hot. I had three hits. It's a lot of friends from my school on my team.

Bird Drawing

When I woke up one morning and I was going to make myself breakfast I looked out on the porch and saw this big bird. I did a sketch of it and I called my mom and she took photos. He stayed there for about 5 minutes. It was crazy. We though that something was wrong with it but there wasn't. Then if flew away.

Crossword Challenge

I did a summer crossword puzzle. It was fun.

Learn a New Skill

I went camping and I did archery and shot bb-guns, went swimming in the pool and played soccer with the dads. It was with my friends from boy scouts. It was fun.

Library Challenge

I am almost going to earn my second prize at the library. Right now I am reading The Original Adventures of Hank the Cowdog. It is good.

Bubble Blowing

I made these bubbles with a little help from my mom. I was shocked when it worked. I used my sister's handle for her cup as my bubble wand. It was a great wand. I had fun.
